I haven’t played with my Sew Suite set nearly enough, and when I saw Kristin’s sketch for the JUGS challenge this week, I thought it would be fun to put the two together. Here’s the sketch:
and here’s the card:
I was also able to use one of the cute little sayings from You’re a Gem; it’s stamped on a piece of DP from the Sweet Stitches series:
This paper is just too cute!
I am off to stamp today with some of my blogging friends! I can’t wait to see Korin, Carol, Denise, Jen, and Cathy, as well as many others!!! Hopefully I will actually get some stamping done…..instead of socializing as I usually do! Enjoy your day!
- Stamps: Sew Suite, You’re A Gem
- Paper: Marina Mist, So Saffron, Early Espresso, Bashful Blue, Sweet Stitches DP
- Ink: Chocolate Chip
- Acc: Perfect Polka Dots EF, Twill, Narrow Grosgrain Ribbon, Corner Rounder, Buttons, Dimensionals, Needle & Thread
It looks like Cassidy is saying "Oh look at that pretty card you just made Grandma!" What a sweet expression on her face! Love the card with all the different stitches and buttons!

ReplyDeleteLeAnne, Your cards are so cute! Your vacation must have been good for you. As for spending more time with people, you must listen! Each day is all you have. I am alone most of the time(except for my cats), my h was home 13 hours in the last seven weeks and is "home" for the week. I have my grandchildren here this weekend, but we stamp when they are here. My grandson has been doing all the crafty things since 18months (in a highchair stamping)! I don't get much sleep anymore so I have stamping time, but I limit the challenges, and they are just that, challenges. I don't have any classes or clubs and no one to stamp with here, so I am free to do what I need to for me. I spend a little time with my daughter, usually on the weekend, but she is tired from her job, so I let it be what she needs. Take the to evaluate what you want to do with your life before you give it up! God Bless!
