You might say that I am addicted to these digital images from Arielle; it’s just that it is so easy to print out a whole sheet and then color them up! I don’t have many Copics in the purple family, so I added some blues to make this little pansy card:
It uses the Card Pattern Sketch107:
Edited to add: this also qualifies for the color challenge at the Play Date Cafe:
I also stamped some polka dots on the outer panel by masking the center design. Can you see them here?:
I can almost believe that spring will arrive by looking at this card….today’s weather is not very springy, that’s for sure! Hope your day is super!
- Stamps: Polka Dot Basics, PTI; Digital, Wax Fruit Company
- Paper: WW, Almost Amethyst, Crumb Cake, Basic Black, MTME digital stripe
- Ink: Craft White
- Acc: Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, Copics, Seam Binding, Crocheted Flower, Embroidery Floss, Dimensionals
(You notice all the toys around, and she plays with the box and plastic lids!!!)
What a beautiful card! The colors are PERFECTION! Did you crochet the flower? I'm going to be very jealous if you say "why yes I did!" lol
ReplyDeleteAs always, I just love your final photos on your posts, LeAnne!
Your pansies are so pretty. Great job colouring them.
ReplyDeleteYour grandaughter is growing up so fast! And the boxes are always more fasinating then any toy we actually spend money on. lol.
LeAnne,
ReplyDeleteYou made an amazing card with this image and the coloring is perfect. I much prefer the addition of the blues with the purples. That crocheted flower makes mine look puny. It is really beautiful and I need to learn how to make them better. It is the perfect addition to your card. AND Cassidy is so precious. Love the photos of her learning and growing. Wonderful post!
Love and blessings, Martha

ReplyDeleteOh my LeAnne is this ever gorgeous! I got this image from Arielle too but haven't colored it up yet - just going to HAVE to do it now though. I have always believed that cats and babies are more entertained by the containers than they are by what came in them! ~chris

ReplyDeleteThe universal truth; children will play with boxes and packaging long before actual toys. Perhaps we should learn from that...
