Happy Monday, peeps! I threw this card together over the weekend as a sample for my club hostesses…we had a little party yesterday! SU has this awesome Red Glimmer paper in the current mini catalog, so I paired it up with a black heat-embossed Extreme Guitar guy for this:
It is really shimmery IRL and you don’t get glitter everywhere! (My husband approved!) I also cut some letters using the Billboard Alphabet die cut. Riding Hood Red ink sponged behind my rockin’ guy made him really stand out! I also used the reverse part of the star punchout for the inside:
A great card for a teenage boy….adding to my stash of birthday cards!
So I am just a lousy photographer when it comes to taking pictures of my stamping friends…..of course, when you’re the hostess, it’s hard to do it all! I think I need to appoint a photographer!!! So I didn’t get pictures of everybody, but here are a few:
My sweet friend Linda…..
Beth and Anna…..who just signed up to be a demonstrator!
Ellen, Billie and Kathy…..Ellen & Billie were responsible for introducing me to Stampin’ Up! They are all wonderful friends as well as terrific stampers! And even though Dana didn’t stamp (we’ll get her started here one of these days), she did bring the baby over and had lunch with us:
And little Miss Cassidy:
This was actually taken on another day---I didn’t get any pictures of her yesterday---can you believe it? Anyway, I’ll share photos of what we made in the coming week! Thanks for stopping by!
Great card and great photos! Looks like you all had a fun time. Little Miss C looks charming in her dressy outfit!
ReplyDeleteVery cool card - I'll have to take a second look at that glitter paper! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGREAT card, LeAnne! The glitter with the heat embossed image looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteAwesome card. I have some of those stamps, and have used one for my grandson's birthday last June. I must get them out again and stamp some more!! Thanks for sharing this cool card with us.
