The JUGS challenge this week is to dress up your envie—your envelope! I usually do stamp on the outside of my envelope, but I don’t usually add anything to the inside! I needed a (belated) birthday card, and I had a scrap of this beautiful Springtime Vintage DP on my desk, so I used it in my creation:
I used the Hostess set, Punch Potpourri, along with the sentiment set Oval All. The vintage hearts are stamped along the lower part of the card….you might be able to see it better here:
I also stamped the same heart on the front of the envelope; added some glitter and a pearl (which I think gives my bird a rather vacant stare---I may replace that!); and some seam binding and lace layered under the sentiment. I LOVE Baja Breeze, so it’s no secret that these DPs are my favorite from the batch! Thanks for looking today!
Love this card. You used so many elements and they all work together so well. Love the baby photos. She is adorable.
ReplyDeleteKeep posting those adorable baby pictures. That is one really, really cute dolly you have there.
ReplyDeleteI love this card LeAnn, especially because you coordinated the envelope rather than matching it with the same paper from the card. It makes me think of all the quilts my mom makes!
ReplyDeleteoh thank you thank you thank you for the inspiration to use this set and punch. I never seem to pick it up but now you have INSPIREd ME WHAT A PRETTY CARD! Thanks Leanne!
ReplyDeleteHey girl love the card, try the black mini rhinestone instead of the pearl for the eye.. I think you will like that better..
