Happy 2011! I hope everyone had a safe, happy & healthy New Year’s! After taking a couple days off from stamping, I jumped right back in with Arielle’s stunning ColourQ challenge today:
Be still, my heart---I am in love with these colors! I have vowed this year to make MORE birthday cards---I never seem to have enough----so here is the first of the year:
I had half of a Top Note diecut in my Basic Black folder and a few precious pieces of Soft Sky left, so I incorporated some polka dots into whatever I could—embossed, stamped and on DP! My sentiment flag is from Lil’ Inker—thanks, Laura! The polka dots are PTI, colored with markers or blender pen & ink.
Thanks for visiting today, and please stop over to the CQC blog and play with us! I am sure that Santa must have brought you some new toys you could use!
- Stamps: Polka Dot Basics, PTI; Sentiment Flags, Lil’Inker Designs
- Paper: WW, BB, Soft Sky, So Saffron & Daffodil Delight Patterns DP
- Ink: Memento Black, Soft Sky
- Acc: Dies: Top Note, Flower Layers 3, EK Success Scallop Punch, Boho Blossom & Scallop Oval Punch, Rhinestone brad, satin ribbon scrap, markers, blender pen, paper piercer, Perfect Polka Dots EF, baby rhinestones
Enjoy your day!
Love!
