Digis & Copics

DSCF0010

I had a chance to play again with some Copics and some digi images from Paper Garden Projects; some of my stamping friends I met with a couple weeks ago very generously gave me some super-duper paper that works wonderfully with my Copic markers!  What a difference when you have the right tools!  I played around with a couple different combinations of greens; this one happened to match some lovely K&Company Christmas paper:

I don’t have many shades of green Copics, so I had to do with these, but I think the paper is bold enough that it carries off.  I added a seam binding bow with tinsel, both from SU and a scalloped mat of Wild Wasabi.  I can’t wait to play around some more with this paper and my Copics!   Thanks for checking in today!  Brrrr!  It’s cold here in PA!  Stay warm!

  1. It's beautiful! And you've colored it to perfection to match the paper. I drug my feet saying I would NOT buy into another coloring medium......and then I tried Copics. Sigh...I bit the bullet and bought some...a lot...just reordered a few more.

  2. LeAnne,

You have just recently mentioned Copics. You do beautifully with them. I took the Copics Certification class a year ago, and still only have a few. I want them all and can't quite make myself buy them all at once...sounds like a storage nightmare! But eventually I will. Which ones did you get? Did you buy a set, or certain ones? How do you store them? You can write me an email and share and maybe Santa will bring me some more for Christmas.

I love the simplicity of this Holly card. You really did a wonderful job matching it to the DP!

    Thanks, Martha
PS Loved that little "tongue-sticking-out" picture from a few days back! She looks like such a sweetie.

I love my Copic markers. I use Neenah paper. What did you use?
    Stay warm!

  7. Hey LeAnne! Sorry I haven't commented in a while - busy with the business of life :) You're coloring if fabulous girl! Aren't copics fabulous?! I started out with another brand of alcohol based marker then tried copics...love at first use! Sadly, my hubby doesn't get it LOL! Stunning card girl!

  8. How colorful and festive! I love the holly leaves and how you colored them! I haven't tried the cryogen paper yet, but I made mental notes that day and hope to get some soon! I'm still on the learning curve, but find that the more colors I get, the better I can color. I know - that's probably just all in my head LOL - an excuse to get more :)
That smiling little baby girl all bundled up looks quite cozy in this cold snap!! She's such a happy little girl!!!
