JUGS 59

DSCF8039-1

This week’s JUGS challenge is to make a gatefold card.  I had just made one of these for my upcoming stamp camp, but I didn’t want to share that one quite yet….I like to keep my campers in suspense!  So I whipped up a quick little card for a recent hostess—not too complicated, because I like to think that when they receive my cards, they can say “I can do that!” and feel that they don’t need tons of products to make a nice card!  She loves pink, so here it is:

The only thing about gatefold cards is that they’re difficult to photograph!  Here’s the open view:

I am not real thrilled with the vellum scallop behind the butterflies….it makes the vellum look like a sort of mauve color---but hopefully my hostess won’t mind!  Maybe the bling will distract! LOL!  I always leave the inside blank so that they can use it for their own occasion!  Thanks for visiting today!

  5. LOVELY lovely LeAnne - I DO like the velum touches and I agree that they are hard to Photograph. I sometimes use removable adhesive - photograph then take OFF the adhesive. Thanks for trying the JUGS' technique challenge this week! :-)

  6. I like that the vellum is a bit of a different color. On my monitor it looks just fine.
The pink butterflies are a bit of a break from all the Holly and Snowmen we all seem to be posting.
