Ay caramba, this color combo from Tammy really stretched me! I love the colors, I was just stumped as to how to combine them! I wanted to do the JUGS36 sketch:
but no ideas were flowing for the images! I just opened my notebook and started perusing my stamps! With the (ahem) thousands of stamps I have, you’d think choosing something would not be that difficult! Finally settled on a “bee” theme:
There is just a plethora of different images, papers and buttons going on here! I added some black as an accent color, and stamped a verse on the inside:
There’s also bling, stitching, distressed edges, and the “ribbon” is some seam binding I found in my sewing supplies which I rubbed on my So Saffron ink pad!! All the buttons are from my mom’s button tin---anyone have one of them? I think it was probably HER mom’s, truthfully! Some of the buttons were so old, they crumbled in my fingers! Anyway, I hope you can find some time to challenge yourself with these lovely colors. Check out the CTD blog to find out all the deets, and come play with us!
