Cherry Merry Christmas

DSCF8162

Well, it’s a jubilant day in the WeeInklings stamp room! I had some time to stamp today, after a not-so-productive evening in the stamp room last night, so I am happy! I LOVE SU’s new Cherry Cobbler—it is such a pretty, rich, red, I know I will be using it for lots of things! I made a monochromatic card for my Christmas card today, because I just wanted to show off that wonderful color! I started with Karen’s sketch:

and pulled out a retired SU set called To You & Yours:

I used two CHF background stamps, Leaves and Aged Sheet Music, one stamped in Craft White, the other in Cherry Cobbler. I layered the stamped image on a couple of circle and scalloped mats, and added some glitter:

I also stamped off the same image a couple times to make a faded background for the inside sentiment, which is from Flourishes:

Just a side note, thank you to everyone who made such nice comments on SCS about my gallery and being the Featured Stamper today! And thanks to Tammy for choosing me. I am still on cloud nine!

  • Paper: WW, Cherry Cobbler
  • Ink: Cherry Cobbler
