OCC Stampaholics Challenge

Here’s a fun little square card I made for  a couple challenges! The first one is the Stamp-a-holics 10-minute inspiration challenge.  And I actually did this card in 10 minutes!!!  The second challenge is the Our Creative Corner anniversary challenge.  You were to make a card based on your anniversary gift—and since DH & I have been married for 11 years, the gift is steel (!!!) and the color is turquoise.  Perfect for the inspiration, which is shown here:

And here’s my card:

I had a REALLY difficult time photographing this---it is so dreary and gray today!  The paper is actually a little more turquoise than is shown here, so just pretend that it looks like the pillow in the picture!  The base is Kraft, the DP is Pink Flamingo, and the scalloped flower is Kaleidoscope DP with a pink corduroy button brad.  The “steel” is a soda can flower cut with the Blossom Party diecut—pretty cool, huh?  I already had that cut, so that was a time-saver.  Stamped the sentiment from Define Your Life in Stazon and my card was done!  Here’s a closeup of the flower:
