I finally got some Our Daily Bread Designs stamps….these are just beautiful! (They have awesome music on their blog, too!) I needed an encouragement card for a friend, and when I saw the color challenge at SCS, I thought it would be a good fit:
I used this week’s sketch from Karen Giron:
And this also qualifies for the ODBD challenge to recycle; I used an old gardening book to make my little flower:
And while I am at it, I’ll show you another card I made a couple days ago; this one was a sympathy card:
How beautiful is that Kaleidoscope paper? I hardly had to do any work at all! I know it seems rather bright for a sympathy card, but sometimes you need an uplifting color, rather than a subdued gray or lavender.
Wow, three posts in one day----now I need to get to work. That yard is growing in leaps & bounds and it is finally warm enough to mow! And remember, if you have any questions, just shoot me an email. TFL!
Oh my goodness gracious, LeAnne, these are two abolutelt breathtaking cards my frend!!! I love the first one for the Vintage feel it has with that fab lace and awesome recycled flower you've created. And for the the second one...WOW, that paper is awesome and that sentiment "Praying for You" is all it needed...stunning!!! You go girl!! I am so glad you like your ODBD stamps. Have a fabulous day!! Hugs and blessings, Sabrina

Beautiful! I LOVE the teeny flower you used the text paper to make! Very sweet!
ReplyDeleteThese are both great! The first one is just gorgeous! I love those stamps... I have had them on my 2 buy list forever! I have a lot of stuff on that list! :)
ReplyDeleteI have a question. I bet you are shocked! Hee Hee How did you make the little flower? Is it 3 or 4 layers with the little flower punch? I have been saving old books to do that.
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic! I love the flower on #1 and the paper on #2!
ReplyDeleteOne word is all I need:
ReplyDeleteW-W-W-W-O-W-Z-E-R!!!!
Absolutely beautiful! Love the leafy accents and that gorgeous lace!
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous cards LeAnne!! I just love your first creation with the gorgeous flower, colors, layout and verse. The lace gives it a vintage flair. Thanks for joining us at ODBD Shining the Light Challenge this week!
