Country Roads

DSCF7497

Today’s Inspiration Challenge 227 at SCS is Home Sweet…whatever state you live in!  I thought about all the ways in which “Home Sweet Pennsylvania” could inspire me…..Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square being the Mushroom Capital of the World (sorry, no mushroom stamps), and quickly settled on this lovely farm stamp, since I spent most of my growing-up years on a dairy farm.  My BIL’s birthday is coming up, so this will be for him:

This also is a sketch challenge for Our Daily Bread Designs; although I don’t have any of their stamps, I thought it was acceptable.  Here’s the sketch:

I am fortunate enough to still be living on our farm property and although the barn and buildings are gone, those memories are fresh in my mind!  Have a blessed day!

  5. Gorgeous card, LeAnne--very distinctive! You missed a good show this weekend. The ODBD booth was awesome, their first time at the Allentown show. I can't wait to start using their beautiful stamps!
