CAS Swap

DSCF7538

Last night my upline, Pennie, had a quick little downline meeting...I got to see some friends I don't see nearly enough, as well as a lot of new faces!  We like to swap, and when I need to do lots of swap cards, I usually make them fairly simple.  This was my choice:

with this little sentiment on the inside.  I guess I could have blinged it up with some DD glitter or something, but I reminded myself that it is *clean*and*simple!!!   This also qualifies for a new CAS challenge at CAS-tastic Wednesday Challenge!  Sounds like fun to me!

The set is Best Wishes & More; my colors were Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose, all colors that will be staying in the catalog next year.  I like to make swaps that other demos can use to show as samples at their classes, workshops and clubs, so I use current catalog sets.  In fact, my first prototype used the Perfect Polkadots EF that is in the mini, and since I am not sure it will be in the new catty (although I am keeping my fingers crossed!) I decided against it.  Here it is:

I didn't like the angle of the sentiment on this particular card, or the placement of colors, but as I said, it was a prototype.  I need to get  a new corner rounder, too.....after all these cards, the poor thing bit the dust!  Thanks so much for visiting again!

  3. oh, I love both cards LeAnne. I just love how clean and simple they are and they could be used in not just the wonderful color you have here, but in other colors as well. I will surely be using this layout as a layout for one soon :)

    Thanks
