Yippee! I get my computer back today---no more looking at goofy colors on DH's monitor! I hope this card looks better on YOUR screen than mine!
Today's SCS challenge F4A8 was "Out of the Box"--to use the tutorial described so that your image pops out around the edge of a diecut! Fun technique and one I have been wanting to try for a while. Since today is busy, I chose to make a couple more CAS cards for my birthday stash:
It took me a couple tries to get the technique quite right! But for the first attempt, I was pretty happy with how they came out! The image and sentiment is from SU's Bugs & Kisses, paper is CC Garden Variety (love it!). Ribbon is some retired SU. To get the snail just the color I wanted, I inked him up first in Summer Sun, then inked again in Kiwi Kiss.....a combo! I hope these make someone smile. TFL today!
These came out great! I checked out the technique, pretty cool! Thanks for sharing. ~Diane
