I haven’t played Stacey’s Color Challenge for a while, so I thought I would take a few minutes today to play! These are such elegant colors, and the designers’ samples are so nice! I had seen some punched tulips (I believe on LeeAnn Greff’s blog) so I thought I would try them here to make another Easter card for my stash. I also used Taylor’s sketch. Here are the details:
and here is my card:
Dots & sentiment are from PTI; the tulip is sort of 3D; you can see it here:
it is made from the wing of the large bird punch that is in the current SU mini catalog---how versatile & cool is that! Thanks for visiting again today!
Oh Leanne! This is one beauty of a card and those tulips are darling! Thanks for the inspiraton, I may have to try one of those challenges!!

ReplyDeleteOh now I have to have that punch! That tulip is beautiful. I love it! How do you come up with all of this? What ink did you use on the edges? I am going to a SU class this week. Now I have something else to get. I offered to help her get ready and cut stuff so I could see what has to be done but she said she was already ready. Boy I wish I knew if I could make a go of it in SU. I would want you to be my upline. You are so dedicated and you are sooooooo talented.
