First, I have to thank CeeCee (who is one of the MOST talented, creative stampers I’ve seen!) for this cute idea. You can see her creations here. When I saw them, I smacked my head—I was just about to throw away a brad container. I had been saving it, then thought, oh, it is just cluttering up my desk….and then I read her post. So here is my little “rescued” altered brad container:
I just used various DPs, cardstocks, ribbons and embellishments. I used Tombow Multi glue for adhering the paper and Sticky Strip for the ribbon. The Crop-a-Dile does a great job of punching a hole for the ribbon “purse strap”. Want to see what’s inside?
Just make sure the lid is snapped TIGHT before you dangle this little purse from your finger (ask me how I know this). This will be a little goodie for my niece in her Valentine package!! This is also for the Pals Paper Arts Challenge 26, to make anything but a card! And did you know that Stampin’Up! is donating $2 from each sale of this set, I {Heart} Hearts, to Haitian relief? You can check it out on my website here. It’s a wonderful chance to get a cute new stamp set and help the victims of the Haiti earthquake.
I have a busy weekend ahead, so I am not sure if I’ll get anything posted…have a great one!

This is so cute! What a great idea. It is so hard to toss some containers. I have these round ones from my Mary K Mineral Powder. I have to try this idea. Thanks for the great idea.
