Diva Coffee Break Designs #149

DCBD149

This week the Divas are challenged with a lovely sketch!  There are so many possibilities with this one!  I also chose to use the colors from Stacey's Curtain Call Color Challenge Act 6:

act6

Recently at my upline's, I saw a card using the Friendly Words wheel, stamped with Versamark, heat embossed with clear embossing powder and sponged with ink.  I loved it!  So I decided to use that technique for my card today:

After embossing the Very Vanilla panel, I sponged the center portion with Dusty Durango ink, then the edges with Ruby Red.  I had one little piece of twill left in my stash, so I twisted it for a little different effect, added a Playground button and some leaves from Falling Leaves.  My So Saffron panels was stamped with the Cornelli Lace jumbo wheel; sentiment is from All Holidays.  This is for a friend's birthday, so the inside sports a sentiment from On Your Birthday:

  12. LEANNE!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS is my all time favorite and I want to make it. At first glance, I thought the button was a butterscotch lifesaver! Wouldn't that be a good idea for a card? Think of the aroma!!!!!!!!

PLEASE advise me: Is that stamp somewhere in my SU catalog?

And I want to order from the SU catalog. Do I do that from here or in an email to you?

  13. LeAnne! This may sound a little weird, but I can NOT see your card, it is gone! And by the comments everyone left, I want to see it! Hope your card decides to come back soon!

  14. Your card is so great.
In German: Du hast die Farben so schön verwendet. Der Hintergrund ist schön und auch die ausgeschnittenen Blätter. Auch wie Du den Knopf verwendet hast gefällt mir sehr gut.
