Ohhh...how exciting :O) Blog candy! Though I'm never that lucky! LOL
ReplyDeleteMy favorite technique, huh? I would have to say that watercoloring is up there. I JUST started doing it this year and it works out well enough (in lieu of Copics which I don't own). I like some of the other techniques I've learned this year also, like dry embossing vellum, though I don't do it very often.
I am on an embossing kick right now. There are so many ways to do embossing these days and they are all fun.

Well, I picked a good day to swing on by, huh?!? Looks like a wonderful bunch o'goodies!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite technique has always been paper-piecing ... but I've been using my alcohol inks a lot lately doing the polished stone technique. And, of course, C'bugging backgrounds ...
Looks like I have three favorite techniques!
Hope all is well with you!

Hi Leanne,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the offering the great candy!
My ALL TIME favorite technique has got to be CASE'ing-ha ha ha.
No really, I never tire of heat embossing and I'm finally trying my hand at dry embossing (with brass stencils). I'm really digging the effects.
Keep those posts coming!
Thanks again.
Sharon

Wow! Very yummy candy! Now this is enabling my budget can handle :D
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on reaching this blogging milestone and thanks for sharing the gifts with your readers - Used or new my stash is always up for infusions of stamping inspiration and materials.
Favorite technique? Hmmmm....does Big Shot count as a technique...probably not so I'll have to go with anything using sponges, brayers or reinkers. Basically I love getting my hands and my paper inky in different and unexpected kinds of ways. When those tools are involved you know it isn't going to be the usual ink on stamp kind of experience and I like the bit of unpredictability of the result. Fun to use them to create my own background papers that of course I can run through my Big Shot for interesting die cuts.
Thanks for providing this lovely blogging window on all your creativity that provides so much inspiration for us all.
Hugs and wishes - Jean
I love learning to watercolor. It always amaze me how beautiful it all turns out. I, also, love my Nestabilities (any of them); they add so much beauty to cards.
ReplyDeleteHi LeAnne,
ReplyDeletemy favorite technique is probably heat embossing. I love the finished look it gives to any project! Had done dry embossing with brass stencils long before I'd ever heard of heat embossing. But, I'm always up for learning new techniques! :)

ReplyDeleteMy favorite techique is usually heat embossing. I love the 'high-end' look that it can bring to a card. There are so many ways you could go from there, brayer over it just leave it, do an emerging color. I guess those are more than one technique (and none that I ever do...)
Leanne, I enjoy looking at all of your beautiful creations and did sign up for your blog. I'm fairly new at stamping, so whatever technique I've just learned at stamp club is my favorite. I LOVE the fact that by checking out these blogs that you can also learn new techniques. I must say, I do not know how to watercolor, but I'm envious of those of you who share that with us! Actually, I have a Cuttlebug, and I do love the look of embossing. If I was lucky enough to win . . .I'm at (rolive@kmtel.com)
