Well, I haven't played any SCS challenges in what seems like forever, and I almost didn't play today, but I needed a birthday card for my nephew. He is a gun-totin', camo-wearin', truck-drivin' kind of guy so I wasn't sure he would appreciate a "starry" card, but that's what he's gettin'!
I did some embellishing on the inside too! I used a variety of star shapes on the inside and out--all were punched, and a couple were trimmed down to layer. Thanks for visiting!
- Stamps: Say it with Scallops, It's Your Birthday (ret)
- Paper: Baja Breeze, Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla, Manchester DP
- Ink: Always Artichoke, Baja Breeze
- Acc: Brads & Punch, Nesties, Small & Large Star Punches, Baja Breeze Ribbon, Dimensionals
I wish my "stop button" wouldn't kick in until I finished a card to the level that you do.
ReplyDeleteI have an honest question: with all the cards you are constantly making, how could you actually NEED a card?
LOVE those colors!!! Clean - sharp - gorgeous (as always)
ReplyDeleteElaine took the words out of my mouth (fingers?). This is a very clean and crisp card and your nephew is one lucky guy! I'll bet he loves it! p.s. thanks again for the awards - you ROCK! ~chris
