Happy Sunday, peeps! I am the hostess at the Paper Players this week! It's Clean-and-Simple week and the theme is TAGS!
Adding a tag to your creation is so fun....there are lots of dies and punches out there to make it easy, and even if you don't have any of those, it's still a snap to do! I actually made two cards because the first one didn't really seem CAS enough, LOL! So let's see what I did create:
I have almost as many Halloween products as I do Christmas, so I always try to give my older stamps (and papers) some love! These papers were from way, way back; I used the Bonanza dies to cut out a tag, then stamped a couple of images on them to create my spooky tag! I added some mesh ribbon and twine as well as a sparkly black brad! It all went on a Very Vanilla panel that was embossed with the Dotted Circles embossing folder:
Another real oldie for the inside:
And here's the one that didn't make the CAS cut:
I printed and diecut a digital vintage postcard from my saved images (not sure where this came from; maybe Olde Design Shoppe or the Graphics Fairy) and mounted it on another Bonanza die. This time I added a little panel at the top from The Greetery, along with one of their Halloween sentiments and banners:
The banner is movable so that it can go into the envelope easily and then be moved outward to display the card and the rest of the tag image. Love that starry witch! I used a past Paper Pumpkin set to stamp the inside:
I think I will enter this over at Just Us Girls; they have a mood board and that vintage image on the left makes me think of a vintage postcard!
I will soon be putting away all my Halloween stamps so this may be the last card for that holiday you'll see! I hope you'll play along with my tag challenge...just remember to keep it clean and simple! Minimal layers, stamps and embellishments will fit the "tag"! Share your creation with us at the PP blog and while you're there, check out what the other team members made as well! Thanks for visiting today!
Cassidy's school had a Rhyme without Reason day; her friend dressed up as a hacker and Cassidy was a rapper:
I hope she didn't leave that "bling" on her teeth all day, LOL!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!

ReplyDeleteLovely tag cards, LeAnne. It's quite hard to stay CAS with a tag, isn't it? I do love adding a tag to a card. Isn't that Dotted Circle folder fantastic? Looks great with the spooky orange tag. Thanks for creating such a great challenge.
ReplyDeleteLeAnne... such a great challenge! I am getting so many great ideas for tags! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love both of these! The raven is so eye-catching and I love the inside sentiment on the first one and that vintage tag on the second is just fab!
ReplyDeleteBoth of your Halloween cards are fabulous LeAnne! The good thing about our older stamps is that they don't go out of style. I really love the inside of the first card too!
ReplyDeleteOh, wow! Great tag cards, LeAnne! I have always loved these images ... spooky indeed! Of course, the second card is CAS enough for me ... I LOVE this tag! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLeAnne, I love them both but the first one stole my heart. I just love all that wonderful white space and the fact that you created so much texture with the background and still managed to make it CAS is fabulous. Fabulous cards.... oh... and I love the blingy teeth, too:-)
