JAI712 Countryside Thanks

Happy Friday, peeps! So glad the weekend is upon us! And the hot weather broke, so it's refreshingly cool here in SE PA!  I made a quick card today, using some scraps from the Countryside DSP line and a sketch from Just Add Ink:

This sketch is perfect for using up some of those little pieces of DSP we can't bear to throw away!  Here we go:

So easy peasy!  I stamped a thank you from Sketched Butterflies and colored in some flowers from Country Birdhouse to embellish my card; all the strips went on a mat of Boho Blue as well.  The final embellishment was a little Blooming Pearl:

I always need thank you cards for my customers, so this one will get popped in the mail today!  Thanks for visiting today!

A few more kids' vacation pix:

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

  1. Love the blue and the design. Kiddos look like they had a great time. I haven't ridden a horse since I was 13 and have no desire. I haven't ridden a motorcycle since I was 17. I haven't ridden a bicycle since I was 60 and I bet you can guess why for all three :-) I'm lucky I can walk without falling over...lol!

  3. LeAnne, every time you make a card like this, I remember my first-time view of a Stampin' Up demonstrator's cards at a Christmas Craft boutique... you girls really do know how to use those dsps better than most!
These patterns and blues would have been among my mom's picks for sewing! Thanks for that memory, too!

  4. Very cute card! I love & have this DSP but haven't used it yet. You've given me inspiration on how to use it! Sweet thank you card.
I also loved your "glitter in the sun" card. What a fun sentiment!

How tall is Cassidy? I remember when she was just a baby & look at her now!

Have a lovely weekend & a GREAT birthday!
