AYSI244 Cozy Colors

Hey, stamping peeps!  Yay, it's Friday and time for a new As You See It challenge!  Here's a fun one for you:

I would have to say that my cozy color is anything in the orange family, particularly peachy hues!  So I went in search of my favorite orange colors and broke out a new set of dies for my card today:

I used some Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Strips dies to cut panels from Rococo Rose, Pumpkin Pie, Grapefruit Grove (ret), Crisp Cantalope (ret), and Petal Pink, then lined them up on a panel I had embossed with the Dainty Dots EF.  My florals are from Altenew, as is the sentiment.

They were stamped in Blushing Bride, Petal Pink, Rococo Rose and Soft Seafoam, and I added some retired SU sequins.  I had an extra flower cut out, so I adhered it to the inside:

I love seeing what colors make everyone feel warm and cozy, so be sure to share your favorite with us and come play along at As You See It!  Thanks for popping in today!

While taking pictures of Mr Bluebird earlier in the week, I didn't realize I got Mrs Bluebird right next to him!  A lucky shot!  (And Mr Junco in the background!)

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."  John 14:27

  5. I love these colours, LeAnne! Peach or coral is one of my favourites, too! I love the idea of all the shades side by side in stitched rectangles. And then echoed in the blossoms! Beautiful!

  7. I love your wonderful striped background, complete with detailed stitching and an embossed ground. It's just gorgeous. And then you've used that fabulous stamp set - which I'd forgotten I owned until I saw it on this card. This is all-round fabulous!

  11. I am loving those stripes - lovely behind those flowers. Although I am not at all convinced that's Rococo Rose. That's one of the few colors I actively do not like - yet I love your color combo.

  12. I love those stripes - when you blend oranges together, this gives a whole new look (I second Kim's point above!) I think orange (in the Halloween sense) can often seem garish, yet your blooms are anything but - so pretty!
