IB46 Elegant Tree

Happy Thursday, peeps!  As you're reading this, we're supposed to be getting SNOW!  And sleet!  And rain!  I know lots of bloggers who have already had some snow this year, but it's a wee bit early for us...but I don't really mind!  My card for today's Inspired By challenge is pretty appropriate:

And here's Laurel's prompt:

The jury is still out on whether or not I actually like this card..I love the photo inspiration, but I am not too sure of my execution!  I found some snowflake papers from MME's Winterberry line and I paired it with a glimmer paper tree from SU's In The Woods framelits:

I colored some pearls with my blends to make pretty little centers for a few of the snowflakes:

And added a scalloped border, some Tranquil Tide velvet ribbon and a pretty script sentiment:

My sketch comes from CAS Colours and Sketches:

You should definitely stop by the Inspired By blog to check out the other designers' creations though...they're awesome!  Thanks for popping in!

Our church had a chili cook-off on Saturday night....Cassidy wasn't too thrilled about the chili, but she sure tried out a lot of the desserts!

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

  2. Remember the days when we used to be able to try out the desserts like that? I don't even care for dessert any more...unless someone puts a brownie or chocolate chip cookie in front of me...lol. Have a blessed day.
