SIP99 All About Packaging

Hi peeps!  It's Tuesday, and that means another fun Stamp Ink Paper challenge!  So check it out:

No automatic alt text available.

What a great challenge!  Even the smallest of gifts can look great in the right kind of packaging, right?! You know the giver cared enough to make the outside of the gift as special as the inside! This challenge gave me a chance to use a couple of the new products from the upcoming catalog:  the Wood Words stamp set, the Wood Crate Framelits, and the Wood Textures 6x6 DSP pack:

This little crate is just too cute!  It's not very big, about 3.25" x 1.5", but it's just right to put a few little treats inside!  Just make sure you do your stamping BEFORE assembly, LOL!  Much easier that way!  I did add a couple of pieces of cardstock to the inside sides and bottom to make it a wee bit more sturdy.  I added a tag and the rooster embellishment from the same set, stamped in Cherry Cobbler.  The only non-SU product was the gingham strip, which was stamped with a Papertrey set on a scrap of the same DSP and then cut again with the crate die and glued on.

And last week, when the concrete men were here, I baked up a couple of loaves of banana bread and made some quick tags with the same set, this time using some Serene Scenery DSP and a tag punch:

I don't know if they cared about the tag, but I do know they enjoyed the bread!!!  I hope you'll play along with our challenge this week and show us your fabulous packaging!  And be sure to see what the SIP design team made as well!

So the walls to the addition's foundation are now up and concrete was poured for the floor yesterday.

Meanwhile, inside, I have ripped off all the wallpaper off our bedroom and John has started to take out carpeting and drywall so it can be extended out!  Messy but I can't wait to see the end result.  And in between the two levels will be a bigger kitchen!  Woohoo!

Meanwhile, the girls escape to the movies!

Enjoy your day and be blessed!
