PP338 Topiary Bunny

Happy Sunday, peeps!  It's Laurie's turn to host the Paper Players and she has a sweet challenge for us!

I pulled out this really cute Michelle Masters Easter bunny in his topiary car for my card this week:

He was stamped in Stazon on thick white cardstock and diecut with a rectangle stitched die.  I added some stitched scallops to the bottom of my card, and a panel of retired SU DSP.  I realized after I photographed it that I omitted coloring the little flowers coming from his exhaust!!  I'll have to remedy that!  His car is watercolored in Garden Green with accents of Peekaboo Peach; the sentiment is from Our Daily Bread Designs.  I even found some cotton yarn in my knitting stash that matched the peach for a little additional accent!

I know this will be a fun challenge for everyone, so I hope you can play along!  Check out what the other designers did:

Can't wait to see what you create!

Yesterday I had a stamp camp at my church, and we made some Easter treat projects!  I'll post them later in the week but I wanted to share a couple of photos....I am still learning how to take photos with my phone, I am just terrible at it, so I need to practice!  But everyone had fun and they were all patient....there were twelve stampers and I had five Big Shots going at once!  They waited their turns and it all worked out well!

They stamped......(Sandy, Monica and Wendie):

And they cranked......(Sheila, Stacie, Gabriella and Maryanne):

And they assembled!!!

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

  8. LeAnne... what a cute image... especially love the little touches of flowers and you colored the images beautifully (including the exhaust pipe ones you did later :-) ) I love how you picked the orange from the flower and echoed it in the twine.

  10. Love this fun card LeAnne - would you believe I have actually spotted a garden maintenance van driving around my locality recently that is covered in grass - it reminds me so much of your card! I keep trying to get a photo of it to share with you - it is truly comical!
