Hi everyone! I am honored to be the guest designer for the Retro Rubber challenge this week! I have a plethora of "retro" stamps....and am always happy to dust one off to use for their fun challenges! Here's the prompt for their latest challenge:
I stamped the image and sentiment in Memento black directly onto the "wordy" paper, then colored in the nose and "smile" with Tangerine Tango marker. I did a little sponging around the edges, added a black scallop and then mounted it on that CUTE jack-o-lantern paper I have been hoarding, LOL! I added a couple of black enamel dots from a retired Project Life kit. For the inside, I took another paper from the same pad and stamped some images from Newton's Nook's Spooky Street:
Have a blessed day!
Really cute design LeAnne!! Love those fun pumpkin papers with the faces!!
ReplyDeleteCute, cute, cute! Love that pumpkin paper and your kitty face! That sentiment is priceless! Another amazing Halloween card, LeAnne! :)
ReplyDeleteYou had me with the cat, cute or scary, I love them all! That designer paper is fantastic!! All of the details are wonderful, as always! Thank you for playing with us as a guest designer for Retro Rubber. I always look forward to your creations in our gallery.
ReplyDeleteOh that cat and sentiment are just too much, love this LeAnne!! The inside looks great too. Cassidy looks like she was in the mood for a photo shoot today!! ;)
ReplyDeleteLeAnne, your snarky kitty face brought a huge smile to my face. He does look like he is up to "no good", LOL.... Adding a little color to his nose and to the sentiment made it pop! The jack'o'lanterns definitely have their own personalities. I really like the paper on the card inside... very cool way to add more color with design and sentiments. Thanks so much for being our guest designer this challenge. We always love seeing your creations!!!
ReplyDeleteI love this! Super retro.....and super fun!
ReplyDeleteOh WOW!! this cat's smiling face is both funny and a bit spooky too!!! It's the look of trouble, if you'd ask me, LOL!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous layout, love the pumpkin paper, those faces also look very Halloweenny and are the perfect background for your main image.
Thank you for being our guest designer this week LeAnne, we always enjoy seeing your cards in the gallery.

ReplyDeleteHi LeAnne! Thank you so much for being our guest designer for this challenge! I LOVE this card! The papers are out of this world and I feel honored that you would use some of your hoard to make this card! I love that cat and the sentiment! I know I have said it before but I love that you use dsp to enhance your stamps by stamping directly on the paper! I MUST do this! PS - I don't mean to be an enabler - this was the first time I used the ghoulish grunge set and was happy to have a use!
ReplyDeleteLeAnne, great to have you with us for this challenge. I LOVE this card, I want to hang it on my noticeboard..it is awesome. The cat is stunning, I need to stamp onto patterned paper immediately! And I think I am love with the jack-o-lantern paper. Cx
