MTS121 and AYSI133

Ah, Monday morning!  I have another masculine card today; after my Paper Players card yesterday, I am on a roll!  I took this wonderful color combo from As You See It:

AYSIChallenge133

and paired it up with the Match the Sketch challenge:

and I came up with this:

I used some retired Soft Suede DSP along with a Soft Sky banner stamped with Chalk Lines, then added the globe from The Open Sea, an embossed banner and a diecut anchor from My Favorite Things:

This will be John's Father's Day card...he is my anchor!

Cassidy went fishing with her daddy over the weekend and landed this BIG fish!

Is there such a thing as a fishing princess?!  Enjoy your day!

  1. Princesses can fish as long as someone else baits their hook; and of course, they never actually touch the fish they catch...until someone cooks it, that is.

  2. This is gorgeous! Your granddaughter is, as well. That fish is BIG! When we get back from the oncologist this morning, I foresee a challenge on my desk!

  5. I LOVE this card LeAnne!! The colors and images add up to the perfect masculine card. Yes their is such a thing as a fishing princess,. I was a one when I was a little girl!! And as much as our son loves to fish, I think Penelope will be too!! With that fish, Cassidy can wear her crown proudly!!

  6. Love this clean and modern masculine card LeAnne. Cassidy appears a true fishing princess - she has someone else to carry her catch, for a start!!

  8. Leanne, I love how you have taken such soft and dreamy colours and used them to create a masculine card. The little anchor and its rope are a great touch. Thanks so much for joining us again this week on As You See It.

  9. I love the textured look of this card and the way you used Chalk Lines on that banner. You've managed to use the colours in a wonderfully masculine design! (And kudos for getting all those retiring products in there as well! Masterful!) Thanks for contributing to our gallery at As You See It Challenges!
