Paper Players 213

DSCF5105

Hi everyone!  Hope you’re having a great Sunday….Anne Marie is our hostess this week at the Paper Players….check out these lovely autumn colors she’s chosen for her challenge:

I apologize in advance, because I am pretty sure I have already made a card pretty similar to this one in the past, but these images are so perfect for the challenge colors, I couldn’t help myself!

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Paper Players 213 Autumn Keats

I purchased this Impression Obsession set several years ago at a stamp show, and it continues to be one of my favorites!  I stamped the images in the challenge colors, punched them out with SU’s 1” punch, then punched mats with the Postage Stamp punch in matching colors:

I mounted it on a stitched mat (Lil’Inker) and popped the whole shebang on a Baked Brown Sugar card on which I stamped the leafy swirl in BBS ink as well.  I snagged a few complementary sequins from the Project Life Seasonal Snapshot accessory kit that we received at convention and added them for a little sparkle!

I can’t wait to see what you come up with using these colors—as usual, the PP designers have outdone themselves, so be sure to check out their blogs:

Cassidy’s cast hasn’t deterred her from playing “fruit ball” with Grampy (I know, this is a weird-looking ball, right?!  As well as being dirty!):

You holler out a name of a fruit and then kick it to Grampy….she made this game up!  And she got quite upset when Grampy called out “tomato” and she informed him that a tomato was a vegetable, LOL!

Enjoy your day!

  1. Good for Cassidy knowing tomatoes are veggies!
Love your card LeAnne, the double punching of the little squares is so adorable and the stamps perfect for Fall. I really like the overall vine stamping and the touch of color with your burlap. Beautiful font in the sentiment too.

  2. Such a pretty card. I love all the textures and fabulous rich colours! I love the idea of fruit ball - may have to borrow that one for some of the kiddos I work with! Gives me lots of other ideas - veggie ball, weather ball, etc. Great for building concepts and vocabulary for the kiddos I work with!!! So glad I stopped by! :)

  6. Oh I love this, LeAnn! What a gorgeous stamp set, and your layout is just perfect for the color combo! Fruit ball, how funny! Hmm but I thought a tomato is technically a fruit...

  11. LeAnne, how beautiful this is. I love how you incorporated the four colors in the four images. You could have stopped there! But the ribbon and multicolor sentiment on the tone on tome background are the perfect match!
