CCMC282 & TSTR198

DSCF9896-001
Hi peeps!  I managed to sneak into my craft room to make one more Christmas card!  The Merry Monday players are extending their challenge until January 5 (you can see details here), so I thought I would make another “critter” card as well as use the colors from Create with Connie & Mary:
CCMC282
and the theme of My Favorite Things from The Shabby Tea Room, which requires you to use buttons/bells, snowflakes, silver and white!
So here is my creation, using the hostess set Warmth and Wonder:
LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Merry Monday Christmas Stampin
My silver accents are a tag diecut in silver paper from the mini catalog as well as a circular mat diecut from silver glimmer paper, as well as the silver bells (SU retired) and silver tinsel (SU retired).  I glued my shabby bow of Cherry Cobbler seam binding on two felt snowflakes (also SU retired).

I mounted the whole shebang on a white card layered with prints from Season of Style.  Since this is a bit bulky, it will be hand-delivered to a special someone!

And speaking of reindeer, here is a cute project my dear friend (and fellow babysitter) Athena made with Cassidy:

She spread brown poster paint on her hands & feet to make this jaunty pair!  I LOVE THIS!  And Dana let me have it, so it is displayed on our fridge!
I don’t know if I’ll have anything else to share before Christmas, so I will wish all of you a blessed holiday…remember that we are celebrating the birth of our dear Saviour, and that He comes before any other celebration we can have….let’s rejoice in the knowledge that He loves us more than we can imagine!

  7. I love this jaunty deer in red and the bow with the bell and tinsel on the snowflake is gorgeous! Cassidy's reindeer are wonderful and I'm sure you will treasure them for years to come. They'll look so small next year! Merry Christmas, my friend. May Christ's love shine brightly in your life on Christmas and throughout the New Year!

  24. Lovely Holiday card LeAnne. Love the hand and feet painting Cassidy created. One of my Grand daughters made a butterfly with her feet and it was amazing how realistic it was from a distance. At Christmas my daughter painted her daughters and a nieces feet on to some garden pots and created a butterfly to give to the other Grandma in the family, the pots were really cute.
