AD-Inspired Sympathy Cards

DSCF5020

My friend needed a couple of sympathy cards, and I remembered that I had just seen this picture in the latest issue of Architectural Digest:

Pretty, huh?  I also fell in love with this card from my friend Tracey!  I am thinking that green is fairly trendy right now!  I did not have any toile stamps, but I did have a floral background stamp that was retired from SU.  I inked it up in a couple different greens, because although I loved the designs from the magazine, I wasn’t really fond of the olive color!!  So my first one is Garden Green:

The frame and garden images are from Crafty Secrets; the sentiment is from Thoughts and Prayers. Inside, more CS images and a verse from Blessings from Heaven:

Second one is done in Wild Wasabi:

I stamped the sentiment full-strength and the image was stamped off one time:

Again, did some stamping on the inside; I just love these garden images!

Edited to add:  I am also linking this up for the Papercraft Star challenge this week:

Dana took Cassidy to a field day at a local school yesterday, where she “sort of” participated in a sack race:

Enjoy your day!
