Hey everyone!  Happy Saturday!  I was desperate to use some of my new Holiday Mini goodies to show my stamp club this week, so I used this week’s awesome sketch from Create with Connie & Mary:

The products I wanted to highlight with this card were the Champagne Glimmer Paper, the Holiday Collection Framelits Dies and the Tulle Ribbon.  Here we go:

I also used the Natural Composition Specialty paper, the Fanfair embossing folder, the Music Notes wheel, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding and an Antique Brad.

The sentiment, from Petite Pairs, was stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with Gold Glory embossing powder.  I made my own “brads” by punching some glimmer paper scraps with my 1/4” circle punch.  After adhering them, I decided they were just a little too big, but they stuck on fast, so I’m stuck with them!  The tulle embellishment was CASEd from a card I saw by my friend Cindy Hall; you can see it here.  It’s surprisingly easy to work with and was a cinch to make!

I hope you can indulge me a video, which I finally learned to upload on my blog!  Somewhere along the way, Cassidy learned what “hopscotch” was:

Enjoy your Saturday!

  10. Love it, LeAnne! oooh, Cherry
Cobbler Scalloped Tulle Ribbon, very lush indeed. Your glitter brads look good to me that size, because that gorgous button/brad is big, too. I'm getting hungry for Cherry Cobbler :)

Great video, and boy that brings back memories :) My sister and I spent many summer hours hopscotching the days away! I love the photo of Cassidy splashing in the puddles too! She's so enjoying being a child :)

  13. Love the card and that it is a step away from traditional. Love the little use of the glitter paper (which I tend to use sparingly, in other words, Hoard!). Love the little hopscotch video, too. There is always a box of chalk just inside the garage door. Never know when I want to hopscotch :)
