Paper Players 81 & US144

Hi everyone!  It’s time for another Paper Players challenge!  This time Nance is our wonderful hostess and she has a theme challenge:

Flowers!!!  That should be an easy challenge---but I have so many floral images, which one to choose?!  I ended up just making some diecut flowers, very simple, and pairing them with some bright fun papers.  First, I used the Unscripted Sketches sketch 144:

And here we go:

Although it is difficult to see, I stamped each flower with a polka dot image, and the Very Vanilla one has been embossed with white embossing powder to make it stand out:

I wanted to put buttons in the centers of my flowers, but I am striving to make my cards less bulky to mail, so I opted for some little hearts punched with the Owl Builder punch.  Stitching and a shabby bow finish it off.  I hope you can find some flowers---any kind---to embellish your stamped creation this week!  And be sure to visit the Paper Players blog to see all the other fabulous floral finds!  Again, if you have any questions about my card, shoot me an email---but please be sure to give me your email address so I can reply!

    LOVE this card! The colors are PERFECT together!!!!
    And yes celery is probably an acquired taste, but Cassidy will get it. I like mine with peanut butter. *smile*

    Ps thanks for sharing your cards and Cassidy she is so pretty ,and getting so big, she brings smile to my face, even on a hard and sad day! My son and a girl had a little baby girl 8 years ago, she passed 2 weeks ago, now the grandparents won't let my son have her ,he's always had her every other week , and we been in her life since she was born, and we're having a trouble time with them !
    So when Cassidy smile she makes me forget how sad I am. Thank you , please prey for us !

    Sweet sweet flowers and I love that shabby bow! I am so with Cassidy....and I haven't acquired a taste for celery yet!

    Wow this is a great card. I love the stitching and the bow. Great additions. I may try this challenge today.
    I believe celery is and acquired taste and sometime it is a very strong not so good taste and other times it is great. My dad never liked celery and I never understood that because I always liked it. LOL

    LeAnne what a cheery and bright card. Love the little details of polka dots and embossing and that bow is die for.
    Little Cassidy is adorable and I too like celery but only when I peel it. Hugs.

    Wow! Everything is absolutely perfect on your card! The DP is amazing, the bow totally rocks, the stitching is so nice & straight, the dots on the flowers are perfect and the faux stitiching on the sentiment really makes it pop! Thanks so much for joining us this week at Unscripted Sketches!

    Such a beautiful card, LeAnne! The colors are fabulous and I love the polka dot detail on the flowers. I agree with Cassidy - celery = ICK! The only agreeable celery is Certainly Celery by SU! :)

    You know, some days celery is not my favorite veggie either. I love Cassidy's face in that second photo. She's like "What ARE you? I don't think I like you!" Now let's get to that pretty card of yours....

    Love, love, LOVE the happy color combo! So whimsical and fun. The scrunchie ribbon is such a great detail, too. So pretty!

    LeAnne.. I love this card. I also love what you did with the sentiment. It would have been so easy to loose the sentiment, but the dashed line border is perfect! Love the ribbon treatment, too. Now... the celery.. that brought a huge smile to my face

    This is so gorgeous LeAnne! I love the bright paper and your little dotty flowers are so cute! Celery tastes a whole lot better dipped in humous - but I doubt Chelsea would think so!
