It’s Sunday, and that means Paper Players time! This week Lesley has a sketch for us:
I had a totally different card made for this challenge, then changed my mind at the last minute. I also realized that the last four challenges I’ve done here have all been Christmas cards! I guess “tis the season”, right? I still had some of that lovely glimmer paper on my desk from last week’s card, so I used a few scraps for my pretty card today:
I even had a different DP in mind when I began this card, then found this little scrap from a couple years’ ago holiday mini….and it was so pretty with my swirly dove I just had to use it! There is some embossing going on, a couple diecut & punched snowflakes, and some pearls!!! Lots of pearls…..
Which qualifies it for this week’s Pals Paper Arts challenge 121 as well, which is to use pearls! I just thought they looked so elegant with the shimmer and swirls! What do you think? I was tempted to add glitter, but I thought it would be a bit much, LOL!

ReplyDeleteOoooooo, LeAnne, you had me at sparkly silver paper! This is gorgeous! I love that stamp with the old DP (I've got some in my stash, too!;) The pearls are so pretty & the dry embossing is the perfect background. I really hope your Thanksgiving was fabulous! :)

All I'm going to say, is that this is FABULOUS! Yes, it is! I love how the DSP pairs so beautifully with the image and all of that sparkle...ah, you know how much I love the sparkle. Absolutely stunning, LeAnne! :)
