Happy Tuesday everyone! Check out this awesome color combo from Arielle today:
Doesn’t this make you happy? I just bought some fun felt in colors very similar to these! I was tempted to use them on my card, but I already had mine created; here ya go:
Easy peasy! A couple of star punches (hint: punch the smaller star first, then the larger star, centering the cutout!), some baker’s twine, SU’s new Stripes embossing folder and sentiments from PTI. Oh, and matching buttons! And I used the small star punchouts on the inside as well:
Fun, huh?! Now let’s see what you can create with these colors. If you check out the ColourQ blog, you’ll be able to see what all the designers made this week and add your own to the mix! Have fun!
Wee Details:
- Stamps: Happiest Birthday Wishes, Star Prints (PTI)
- Paper: Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Island Indigo
- Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Island Indigo
- Acc: Large & Small Star Punches, Baker’s Twine, Circle Punch, Dimensionals, Stamp-a-ma-Jig, Brights Buttons, Needle, Stripes Embossing Folder
Fabulous card! Now I'm thinking I need that embossing folder...
ReplyDeleteAdorable design, and those colors are fabulous together! What a great challenge!
ReplyDeleteArielle loves her bright colours and you have used them wonderfully on this card. Love the stars and well done using the negatives on the inside.
ReplyDeleteVery fun happy card! Love the bright colors. And I'm a huge fan of stars. What a perfect paring with the striped embossing folder. Well you could always make a 2nd card with the felt that you have. Would be fun with such great colors.
ReplyDeleteYour card is very fun and cheery! Love the way you punched out the stars! Love that new embossing folder too!
ReplyDeleteThis is REALLY a 'feel good' card - just makes ya smile. Love everything about it and I'll probably be CASEing it real soon. Thanks for the inspiration - hgs
