Happy Sunday, all! It is definitely feeling fall-like here in SE PA this weekend! Stef is our Paper Players hostess this week with a seasonal clean-and-simple challenge!!! Here's my take on it:
And here's her prompt:
This was very quick to make, since I already had this Brushed Copper circle and leaf diecut sitting on my desk (probably since last year!!!) so I simply added some plaid DSP behind it and a wee little baker's twine bow:
And I confess that I totally CASEd the sentiment idea on the front from Joanne's cute card HERE! I totally forgot that I had the Cheer All Year set myself--that's what happens when you have so many stamp sets--so I used just the "autumn" portion of the sentiment from that set and added a "happy" from a Paper Sweeties set! The inside features a couple of sentiments and some Paper Pumpkin leaves:
The Inkspirational challenge this week is CAS with the option of plaid, so I am entering it there as well!
I have lots of fall stamp sets, and I am betting you do too! Show us your Clean-And-Simple design---remember, keep your stamps and embellishments to a minimum! Share it with us at the Paper Players! Thanks for visiting today! Enjoy it and be blessed!

LeAnne, I know what it is like to have some little wee bit of loveliness sitting around just waiting for its chance to shine... and shine your little copper circle does! Gingham leaves? Yes, please!
ReplyDelete=]
I love it when I use up some scraps that have been sitting around for a while and my leaves this week were left over from another project too :) Beautiful CAS design, I love the plaid for the leaf!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a sweet CAS design, LeAnne! Love the copper over the gingham, and the wee bow is simply a delight! Lovely card!
ReplyDeleteYou can never go wrong with a gingham/plaid leaf, LeAnne! It looks fabulous on the Brushed Copper circle. So clean...so simple...so perfect! Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteLove that sweet little gingham leaf surrounded by the shimmery copper! Cute card!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking that's a lovely gingerbread cookie with a leaf cutout LeAnne! So pretty with the plaid and little twine bow! Thanks for sharing with us at Inkspirational! Julia xx
ReplyDeleteLovely, LeAnne. So clean and simple with the single focal point and lots of white space. But the colours bring warmth and love the design. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love this LeAnne - the copper circle with plaid leaf is just lovely and the twine bow the perfect finishing touch. I had to chuckle about the sentiment and stamp sets - it's so easy to lose track! I actually had that set in my 'to go' pile, but I've used it twice since digging it out so I think it might need to stay!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful clean and simple autumn card, LeAnne! I love how the plaid paper peeks through the leaf-shaped opening in the copper circle. Such a clever design with just the right amount of detail! You've inspired me to get into my craft room and create something for this challenge. Thanks for the inspiration!
