PP772 Color Challenge from Ann

Hello everyone!  Time for a new Paper Players challenge, and Ann has given us some colors of spring to chase away those winter doldrums:

Believe it or not, I don't have a lot of floral images and that's what these colors brought to mind.  I decided on this image from Rustic Centerpiece, which was an Online Exclusive and sadly, seems to be retired:

This was pretty simple to create; the image was stamped in Black Stazon, then watercolored with an aquapainter and the challenge color inks:

The sentiment from Unbounded Love was stamped in Lost Lagoon and embellished with some pearls, then the whole panel went on a Lost Lagoon card base. I left the inside blank so I can use it for whatever occasion arises!

I hope you'll find some inspiration over at the Paper Players blog by seeing what the designers created, then putting these colors on a project of your own!  Thanks for visiting today!  Enjoy it and be blessed!

  7. This is a beauty, LeAnne! I love that stamp set and I think they're retiring things far too quickly nowadays, it's blink-and-you-miss-it. Anyway, this stamp is the perfect choice for the challenge colors and you painted the image beautifully.

  10. Very pretty, LeAnne! I didn't buy this stamp, probably because it looked too plain; however, you really brought it to life!! I love your colors (Thanks, Ann!). Lost Lagoon is always beautiful for any card.

  12. Beautifully done, LeAnne! Love the look of having it all on top of the wood slab and there is a wonderful rustic feel to it. Watercoloring was the perfect medium for this image.

  13. Beautifully colored! I have absolutely no ability to do that so I am in awe of the dimension you created on each element.

  14. LeAnne, I love this composition. I also love all the white space you left around it and the subtle grey that grounds it. Beautifully colored, too!
