PPA167 & WAW

DSCF7287

Yay, it’s Friday, peeps!  Now if the sun would just come out and stay out here in PA, I would be happy!!  But speaking of happy, check out these happy colors from the Pals Paper Arts gals:
PPA166

I used a mixture of new and “vintage” products for my card today:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings PPA167

I used an older Deconstructed Sketch for my layout, #112; the sentiment is from one of the very first SU stamps I purchased, Say it with Scriptures….and sadly, it is so old, the rubber has deteriorated a bit and I am not getting good impressions.  Anyone have one they’d like to part with?  I may have to check eBay for a good deal!  I embossed the textured cardstock panels with the SAB Vine Street EF and added a few embellishments.  I colored the center of my Pistachio Pudding embellishment with a Sharpie, just to highlight it a bit:

I think these colors are just lovely together!  What do you think?  This is also for Word Art Wednesday, where they have an “Anything Goes” challenge!

The garage project is progressing….we have a big hole in the ground!  They poured footers Wednesday and a whole inviting pile of stone was dumped in the driveway!  Cassidy & my great-nephew Jack couldn’t resist the climb:

Cassidy was definitely queen of the hill!  Thanks for visiting today!

Lovely colour combo and use of Jen's sketch. Love the EF in the BG. Had to giggle at the kids on the rock pile. We had a HUGE dirt pile in our back yard when we were finishing it and the kids played and played and played in it!! At least gravel is cleaner LOL!!

LeAnne, This is such a soft and gorgeous card! Such intricate work on the sentiment and surrounding elements. And the background paneling sets off the sentiment very nicely. Thanks for playing along with the Pals Paper Arts this week.

I just love what you did with these colors, LeAnne. I also love that you pull out retired products from time to time, like I do! And that mountain of stone sure looks like a fun new toy!
