Color Throwdown #72

DSCF6060

Here we are again with another "cool" color combination courtesy of Broni!  Be sure to check out the CTD blog to see what they've got cookin' over there---I'll bet there is some blog candy to be won!  Take a peek!

swatch 72

For my card today, I have used MFT's Cool Yule....what a CUTE set!  I am not very good at making "scenes" (well, at least stamping scenes!) but I just wanted to use all these cute little images, so I did my best:

DSCF6061-1

All my little images are stamped on SU's Shimmery White cardstock and colored with aquapainters and ink, or Watercolor Crayons.  Some pieces are paper-pieced as well.  The little ice cube is stamped in Stazon on SU's snowflake-printed clear acetate!  So cute:

Can you see those little snowflakes there?  All the little images have some glitter or bling, and even the snowbanks are shaded with Soft Sky and glittered with a Gelly Roll pen!

I hope that you will have a chance to play with these colors and make your own creation!  Post it on your blog or an online gallery, then link it back to Mr.Linky at the CTD blog.  Please make sure to use the exact address, and linking back to CTD in your post would be nice, too!  We can't wait to see what you'll creatively create!!  And while you're there, be sure to check out what all the other designers have created, and give a  shout out to Carol, our Guest Designer for the month!  If you have any questions about anything I've used here, just holler! TFL!
