Hello, stamping friends! Time for a new Paper Players challenge, and Joanne has a lovely sketch for us:
I just got SU's new Gingham Gallery (available July 1) and I couldn't wait to play with it--I do love my gingham! Since I've played with most every In Color but Peaceful Pine, I thought it was time to bring this pretty hue to the forefront with a fun, whimsical Christmas card using Joanne's sketch. Here we go:
This little Unity reindeer is so cute, he looks perfectly okay just stamped in one color! Of course, I had to add a little punch of color with his red nose:
and added a red glimmer star and a little red embellishment on the sentiment tag:
The above sentiment is from Colorado Craft, with another little Unity sentiment for the inside:
I am also entering this at the Little Red Wagon challenge, where they're looking for "Feather, Fur or Fin"! Definitely fur here on my reindeer!

LeAnne, he is absolutely adorable with his bright shiny red nose! I LOve the new gingham, and this is a wonderful pine green - though it looks a little more spruce to me this morning!

This is adorable, LeAnne! I will say that Peaceful Pine is the new In Color I was most excited to get in my hot little hands, but green is my favorite color so that tracks :) I love the little pops of red for his nose and the accents, great visual triangle to move your eye across the card. Have a wonderful week!

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet, whimsical holiday card, LeAnne! This little reindeer with his shiny nose is a heart stealer for sure. The gingham paper is gorgeous in Peaceful Pine. I love the bit of sparkle provided by the red glimmer paper. You have inspired me to create a few holiday cards for my stash using this sketch. Enjoy the rest of your week...and stay cool.
