Happy Wednesday, peeps! I have a "just for fun" card today using a new Online Exclusive set that came out yesterday called Tractor & Company! I usually steer clear of bundles with lots of fussy little pieces because inevitably, I find them too time-consuming, but since I grew up on a farm and have lots of farm-y people in my circle of acquaintances, I thought I'd go for it! The first card definitely took a while to create, but it was fun:
My dad had Massey-Harris tractors when I was young, so I chose to make my tractor red! I diecut and stamped all the images and created a little cloud for the sentiment using the retired Basic Borders die. I also used the diecut edges to sponge some other clouds in the sky:
I have a couple more ideas for this set, so you'll probably see it again soon! Thanks for popping in today! Enjoy it and be blessed!
"Happy are those who reject the advice of evil people, who do not follow the example of sinners or join those who have no use for God. Instead, they find joy in obeying the Law of the Lord, and they study it day and night." Psalm 1:1-2

LeAnne! This is just the set for you, and it couldn't be more fantastic! I love that the wagon can be filled with different things - and that CORN! Such fun - your Christmas card reminded me of all the years we went to a tree farm to choose our tree - except WE were the ones in the wagon!

Such cute cards!! I've been trying to steer clear of the sets with lots of pieces, as well. For the same reason!! But this one is tugging on my heartstrings!!! These cards are not helping me stay strong! hahaha!
ReplyDeleteSo stinkin cute, LeAnne! I'm with you on some of the bundles being too time consuming! I just recently got this one but have not touched it yet! I love that the tractor reminded you of your Dad. Oh the memories you must have! I grew up where farms were close by so this set struck a cord with me and I love that it can be used for different occasions! Hope you continue to have fun with this one! Now you have me excited to get mine inky! Have a great day! :)

I'm thinking about that set. I have no need of farm anything, but it's just too charming! And I love the seasons in it.
