PP739 Thinking of You

Happy Sunday, everyone! It's my turn to be the hostess at the Paper Players, and I've got an easy sketch for you to play with:

I think this has so many possibilities! I chose to use some new DSPs for my bright card this week:

My center panel uses a strip of Florals in Bloom along with some patterns from the Bright DSP selection!  Each panel is just wee bit under 1 3/4" wide and 4" high, and I mounted them on a piece of Timid Tiger cardstock.  The sentiment is also stamped in Timid Tiger and it's from The Right Words.  I diecut it and the Granny Apple Green layer with the Textured Notes dies and added a wee little mat of Lemon Lime Twist as well.  To jazz it up a bit, I added a couple of diecuts from the Unbounded Love dies and a simple white ribbon:

I left the inside blank, as I thought this sentiment could work for any number of occasions!  I hope that you find this sketch to your liking as well, and you'll play along with us at the Paper Players! Be sure to check out the lovely samples our Design Team created while you're there!  Thanks for visiting today!

On Friday, Dana and I went plant/flower shopping because we missed our traditional Mother's Day outing! We hit a couple of Amish nurseries, and saw this cute little "purse" while at one of them:

Such a clever idea! I didn't get it but it was fun to look at! And Mr. Chipmunk has come out of his hibernation and making himself known on our porch!!!  He's always fun to watch!

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

  2. What a bright and cheery delight, LeAnne! I love the fun colors and patterns. The die cuts are a perfect way to set off the sentiment. This sketch was right up my alley. Have a wonderful Memorial Day! P.S. You are a stronger woman than I. I don't know if I could have walked away from the adorable "flower purse"!

  9. This is such a great sketch - secret - it's one of my faithful 'go-to' designs - so I loved playing along with it. I really like the way your panels are all different patterns yet unified by colour. It's just so bright and zingy - just the antidote to the grey winter rains out of my window. :-)

  10. LeAnne, your colors remind me of a pair of trousers I had back in the 70s! Thank you for that memory! I love the way your mixed the DSPs and brought them all together to create this fabulous bright, cheery and summer filled card.
