Thank You For Being My Friend

Hi peeps, happy Tuesday! I have a sweet little card using a stamp set called Field Journal; I bought it because I thought the images would be great for masculine cards, but today, it's definitely feminine:

I am using the sketch from Fab Friday and the color palette from TGIF:

I thought I'd try the "no-line" technique for my berries; I stamped them in Crumb Cake ink second generation (stamped first on scrap, then again on cardstock without reinking), and I colored the leaves with Blends, and the berries with Markers:

I almost gave up, but I worked at it and finally achieved the look I was aiming for!  After fussy-cutting them out, I mounted them on an embossed Whisper White panel and added a sentiment stamped in Flirty Flamingo.  I added some scalloped layers and some Mango Melody DSP and it was done!  I think these colors are very happy and cheerful and summery!  Thanks for popping by!

Cassidy did some playing around with some Granny Apple Green cardstock herself last week, she wanted to create a card for her friend Logan (she wouldn't let me take a picture of HER):

Logan loves tractors, so she stamped the image and diecut it out, then added his name using the Little Letters die, and I had a few extra orange stars from my PP project, so she added them:

And on the inside, a Robox meme and a little acrostic:

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

I adore those cherries, LeAnne! Your no-line coloring is fantastic, and you MAY see those papers on a project 'round here soon - think I could resist that wood grain?
Cassidy, your card is SO cute!

Your coloring is spot on, LeAnne! The embossed background gives them such a feminine look! Another embossing folder to add to my list! Cassidy's card is perfect for her tractor loving friend. I love how she puts her heart into the inside of the card. Emmy does that too.

That's a fabulous take on the sketch with those pretty colors and you did a great job fussy cutting the berries! It all works beautifully together!
Please tell Cassidy her card is sure to please her friend Logan with her clever decorative inside as well as outside! She did a great job with it and I like those orange stars! Stay cool!
