Happy Tuesday, peeps!  One more day of Sale-a-bration, woohoo!  It was a busy month for me!  I did squeeze in some stamping time yesterday to play with Mary Jo’s Technostamper  sketch:

I was a bit stumped as to what to do with this All Abloom DSP, but when I saw the sketch, I thought it would be fun to reverse the panels and use a floral for the right side:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Summer Silhouettes Thank You Stampin Up

I tore a couple of strips of cardstock for a little visual interest and stamped the leafy images from Summer Silhouettes in Pistachio Pudding on the left, and added a little Lost Lagoon strip underneath, then finished it with some Lost Lagoon ribbon.  My sentiment was stamped on a piece of white cardstock which I diecut with my Chalk Talk die, and I lightly stamped the same leaf on it as well before stamping my sentiment:

The little flower is from the same set!  I will be needing lots of thank you cards for some new customers, so you’ll be seeing more of them in the future!  And most of them will be simple, so they’ll be easily duplicated!

CAS for CYCI63

DSCF8895

Hi peeps!  Did you have a good weekend?  Ours was crazy busy but I did have time to make a couple of quick thank you cards for some customers in this design:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInlings Flower Shop CAS Stampin Up

I had some of this Moonlight DSP lying on my work table so I went to my favorite (read: I’m being lazy) layout and grabbed my Flower Shop stamp set and Lost Lagoon ink, and did some quick stamping….didn’t even ink up my stamp twice, just stamped once and then stamped again without re-inking for a lighter look and punched them out:

DSCF8895-001

I grabbed a little scrap of white cardstock, stamped the “thank you” from Teeny Tiny wishes, adhered it all to a card and added some candy dots as an afterthought!  Done!  And imagine my surprise when it matched the Can You Case It sketch this week:

Paper Players 238

DSCF8820

Happy Palm Sunday, peeps!  We have a brunch today at church, so this will be short and sweet!  Claire is our sweet hostess today at the Paper Players, and she’s got a Tic Tac Toe challenge:

Now, I am sure you’re expecting something springy, but I haven’t made a Christmas card for a while, so I thought I would use the center horizontal line of die-cut, sequins and glue to make a pretty card using the Merry Monday theme of “trees” and the Just Add Ink sketch:

So here we go:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Paper Players 238 Peace and Joy Christmas Tree

I had about 45 minutes to throw this card together and I made it just in time!  I recently purchased this fun tree die from Simon Says Stamp, so I cut it out of some Brushed Silver cardstock, mounted it on a Shimmery White tag and popped it atop a little white doily.  While rummaging around in my cardstock drawer, I realized I hadn’t used Baja Breeze for a long time, and it was one of my favorite shades of blue, so I used that for my base.  I embossed the sentiment from Good Greetings in silver EF and then added these amazing sequins that I got as a freebie from Verve:

DSCF8819

They are SO pretty in their iridescence!

So, what will you create with this fun challenge…the possibilities are endless!  Check out what the design team has done with it:

It is STILL very cold outside here in PA, but I took Cassidy out last week anyway just to get some exercise!  She had fun using a plant stand as a basketball hoop:

Well, you’re sure to get it in if you stand directly above it, LOL!

She had fun, anyway!  Enjoy your day!

PPA245 and CCMC348

DSCF8805

Yay, it’s Friday!  Do you have something awesome planned for this weekend?  It’s a busy one for us, but I squeaked in some stamping time yesterday to make a birthday card for a dear friend.  I thought the Create with Connie & Mary colors were so pretty:

CCMC348

and the Pals Paper Arts sketch was intriguing:

so here is my simple card:

A couple of embossed layers, some flowers from Pictogram Punches, a sentiment from And Many More, and some seam binding and baker’s twine to tie it all up:

The matching punch makes cutting out these flowers a cinch!  Have a great day!

Happy Thursday, everyone….aah, we are almost to the weekend!  I am desperately trying to stamp some new samples for a big workshop I have this weekend, so I pulled out a new-to-me set, Boys Will Be Boys, and put the Freshly Made Sketches sketch to use:

I am also trying to use up some of the DSP I have because before we know it, the new catalog will be upon us with some new stuff!  I have to admit that I have been better this year at using mine up!  This pattern from Confetti Celebration is not one of my favorites, but the graphics in it seemed perfect for a boy’s card!  Here we go:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Boys Will Be Boys Stampin Up

I stamped the image in Basic Gray ink and colored it in simply with markers.  It looked a little plain, so I added some Candy Dots along the edge…much better!  My banner is from Maritime, and although I forgot to photograph it, I stamped the birthday sentiment from the set on the inside:

DSCF8802

I am sure I could use this set for Cassidy, as she loves to play with blocks too…so it’s not just for boys!

Cassidy was definitely into licking the cake bowl:

and the spatula:

And my mom always taught me “A good cook always cleans up her mess”, so she went to work washing up afterwards!  A little messy, but another good way to keep her occupied!

CAS Easter

DSCF8770

Hi everyone!  I have a simple card for you today, as my sinuses have once again knocked me for a loop!  I took it easy yesterday but I did manage to get in a little stamping time!  This card is for three challenges!  The Kraft Journal’s Make It Monday 216 was a CAS faith card; the Retro Rubber challenge is to use embossing powder:

RRCB10

and I loosely used the sketch from RetroSketches:

I got some free cards in the mail (you know the ones!) and I tossed the cards, but kept the envelopes, as they were a bit larger than the standard A2.  They came in handy, because this card had to be made a bit larger in order to accommodate the lovely Darice cross embossing folder I used:

I used a Crumb Cake card base and a piece of Simple Stories’ Harvest Lane for the rustic floral panel. I matted my Very Vanilla piece on Cherry Cobbler, then heat-embossed the retired sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink as well:

I don’t typically think of these colors for Easter, but I think it’s a nice departure from pastels!  Hope you like it!

A note to my local Stampin’Up! customers:

My apologies in advance; you don’t know it, but my granddaughter plays with your purchases before I can put them in your bags!  I promise you, they’re perfectly fine!  Sometimes she sings to them:

sometimes she lines them up:

and sometimes she stacks them up:

Thank you for allowing your purchases to entertain her for a good 45 minutes!  Enjoy your day!

Happy Tuesday, peeps!  It’s still cold and raw outside, so I thought another springy card was in order!  This time, I went vintage with a beautiful Crafty Secrets image and the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday sketch, which you can see here!  So here we go:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Vintage Crafty Secrets Bird Birthday

Since I let the papers do all the work, this was actually a very quick card to make!  I did stamp a couple words and images on the DSP, which is from MME’s Lost & Found Market Street 6x6 pad, and I sponged and distressed some of the edges for a more vintage look:

DSCF8764

I did some stamping on the inside as well, with one of the first SU sets I ever bought, Say it with Scriptures, and an image from CS called Bird Lovers:

CYCI 62 Paper Pumpkin Fun

DSCF8700-001

Happy Monday, everyone!  I have been remiss in showing all the fun stuff you can do with the Paper Pumpkin kits!  It’s so easy to just open the box and start stamping!  This month’s is extra fun…it has sewing!!!  Don’t panic, everything is already done for you, you just have to thread the needle and follow the dots….you can do that, right?  Look what you get:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings March 2015 Paper Pumpkin Stampin Up 1

These fun little cards are note-card sized, and if you don’t want to sew, you can just back the white panel with a piece of cardstock; in this case, Coastal Cabana:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings March 2015 Paper Pumpkin Stampin Up 2

There are cool glossy embellishments and a ton of sentiments too!  And when you’ve used up all the cards in the kit, you can keep right on stamping:

This one uses Confetti Celebration DSP, inks in Marina Mist, Strawberry Slush, Memento Black, Pistachio Pudding and Crushed Curry, along with So You from Project Life and the Word Bubbles Framelits and a 3/4” circle punch!

Finally, this one uses Back to Black DSP, the Feather Framelits and Word Bubble Framelits again (just cut off the pointy thing), ribbon and a button from the SAB Best Year Ever Accessory Pack:

and I used the cut-out portion from the feather as a stencil for the inside:

And since this week is Designer’s Choice at Can You Case It, I am submitting this one!

Thanks for visiting today!  If you’re interested in purchasing a Paper Pumpkin subscription, check it out here.  There’s even a special pricing for a 3-month subscription until the end of March!

We took a little family walk yesterday, out through the field and up into the woods behind our house:
